School Uniform

Following consultation with parents and feedback received through a uniform survey, Our Lady of Fatima School has adopted a single leisure/sports uniform for all students.

Parents may choose from any of the following approved uniform options:

Option 1 – Generic Uniform

• Navy tracksuit bottoms
• Navy sweatshirt
• Light blue polo shirt

These items may be purchased from any retailer (e.g. Dunnes Stores, Tesco, Penneys, etc.). A school crest may be purchased separately and added if desired.

Option 2 – Official Crested Uniform

The official crested uniform is available from Rathbawn Schoolwear and includes:

• Navy tracksuit bottoms
• Navy embroidered sweatshirt
• Light blue embroidered polo shirt

Alternatively, visit RathbawnSchoolWear.ie, select Secondary Schools, and then choose Our Lady of Fatima School. Although listed under the secondary school section, sizes are available from young children through to adult sizes.

Option 3 – Synthetic Sports Uniform

A synthetic leisure/sports uniform, similar to the current school tracksuit with minor updates, is also available through Rathbawn Schoolwear.

Footwear

Students should wear:

• Plain black runners/shoes or
• Plain navy runners/shoes

Footwear should be free from bright colours, patterns, logos or flashing lights.

Transition to the New Uniform

No family is expected to purchase a new uniform immediately.

Students may continue to wear existing uniforms, including the current V-neck jumper and school trousers, for as long as they remain suitable. These items are no longer part of the official uniform but may continue to be worn during the transition period.

The transition to the new uniform will take place gradually over time.
